MB&F X Eddy Jaquet Legacy Machine Split Escapement Steel Watch

After a first series featuring engravings inspired by novels and short stories of French author Jules Verne, MB&F decided to continue with the literary inspiration for a second series. The LM Split Escapement ‘Eddy Jaquet’ Limited Edition Steel collection is a series of eight unique pieces featuring the extraordinary imagination and skill of master engraver Eddy Jaquet. Choosing 8 famous novels in the young fiction category, Jaquet hand engraves an intricate tableau of scenes and key moments from each story. With the dial plate varying in thickness from 1.15mm to 0.35mm, an extremely precise and detailed touch was used to not compromise the overall aesthetic of each piece. To maximize the engraving space for Jaquet, a new openworked date and power reserve subdial were created, along with a wider dial plate and slimmer bezel. On a dark navy hand-stitched leather strap, this timepiece is an excellent addition to any watch collection.
